Eddie and Heather

Eddie and Heather Celebrated their ceremony at  Southern Hills Baptist Church   with a traditional ceremony celebrated with family and friends.  The reception was held immediately after in the banquet rooms of Oklahoma City Community College.

Eddie and Heather presented a slide show and a quiet dinner with family and friends.

The couple returned to Southern California where Eddie is on active duty with the United States Marine Corps.

I wish them both the best of luck in their new lives.

Jill and Brian

The wedding of Jill and Brian took place at the lovely St. Francis of Assisi church on February 5, 2010.  Jill managed to stay calm and collected as her bridesmaids helped prepare her to see her groom for the first time.  After the couple’s emotional “first glance”, they joined the bridesmaids and groomsmen in the chapel for the ceremony.  Floral arrangements and bouquets by Tony Foss Flowers elegantly enhanced the church as Jill and Brian exchanged vows.  The couple exited the church through a stunning sword arch and headed to Bricktown Brewery for the reception.  With a Guinness can filled with flowers on top, the cake by Ruth’s Sweete Justice was perfect (delicious too).  Jill and Brian’s guests enjoyed a great meal catered by Bricktown Brewery, as well as a fun-filled night of dancing, thanks to the excellent music by Box Talent.  When the night was over, we went home with happy hearts, knowing that we had been a part of this couple’s beautiful beginning.  Congratulations, Jill and Brian!

Kelly and Joe 01/09/2010

First wedding of the new year!

Kelly and Joe are a blast to hang out with.  Joe is a drummer in a accoustic band, and had his band mates as his groomsmen.

But My favorite part of the night came when Joe and his band serenaded Kelly during the reception.

Changes for the new Year

Hi everyone,

I think of myself as one of the worst bloggers. I never seem to update the blog content like I do my webpage and facebook.  This year I promise will be different. I will showcase every wedding with a post when I finish the first images from the wedding.

On to the new things  for Better Light Photography.

Exciting news!  We have a new studio location!  Effective 2/1/10  we will open our new studio at 2629  W  I- 44  Service Road   Suite 216   This is the two story white building just before you reach May Ave on 44 (what used to be 39th street)  The name Sunbelt is on the front of the building.  I have workspace  and a shooting room/meeting room there and can hardly wait for it to open.

Next great news is, we have aquired  the equipment from a small album manufacturer in Texas and will have the option of hand crafted albums available for our Brides effective now. Your choices are unlimited as to size shape and cover and options.  Want a stainless steel cover?   Want your exact color of your bridal party.  We can do it!

Better Light has also added an addditional 17″  Printer to add the ability to do matt images and canvas. We have always since I started,  printed our own work,  the colors from our printers and our working color space (adobe98)  has allowed us to print deeper richer blues and reds,  so now we can do the same for matt finish and canvas!

My first wedding for the year is this saturday  with Kelly and Joe, so watch this space for the next update.

Thank you for the opportunity to be of service

Michael

The Wedding of Kim and Jeff 05/23/09

Place: Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church

I love Asian Weddings. Warm friendly people, great food and lots of suprises!   We started at the church, then a session at Will Rodgers Park Rose Garden.  The reception was at Grand house, where they did their usual great 12? course dinner!    We had a great time, and look forward to the next  reception at Grand House.
